She’s the friendly face (and voice) behind much of our guest and owner communication, whether she’s welcoming new arrivals, answering questions, or sharing local tips to make every stay extra special.

With a background in law and a natural knack for putting people at ease, Zoe brings clarity, warmth, and genuine care to every conversation. She’s your go-to for straightforward advice—no jargon, just honest support—whether you’re a property owner navigating short-term letting or a guest settling in for a well-earned break.

Having travelled and stayed in homes across the world, Zoe knows first-hand what turns a good stay into a memorable one. BECKY

As our Property Services Manager, Becky is the steady hand behind the scenes; coordinating all servicing, maintenance, and health & safety across Rowes Retreats. She’s the first point of contact for our team and the reassuring voice making sure every property is cared for, checked, and always ready to welcome guests.

Becky’s calm approach and sharp attention to detail mean nothing gets missed, whether it’s a routine safety check or a last-minute fix. As a homeowner herself, she cares for each property just as she does her own—ensuring every space is kept in tip-top condition and that our standards never slip.

With Becky on board, owners and guests alike can relax, knowing everything is done properly, professionally, and with a personal touch. She’s a big part of what makes Rowes Retreats run so smoothly—giving everyone the peace of mind they deserve.

JAKE 

Jake is the creative mind behind the visual identity of Rowes Retreats. As our in-house Graphic Designer, he’s the one turning ideas and values into beautiful, eye-catching designs that capture the spirit of our homes, our team, and the Cornish landscapes we love.

From thoughtful branding and polished property guides to those little design details that make our communications stand out, Jake’s work helps us tell our story in a way that’s both professional and deeply personal. He collaborates closely with our marketing manager and videographer, ensuring every visual—whether on our website, social media, or printed materials—reflects the warmth, quality, and attention to detail that set Rowes Retreats apart.

Verity is the creative heart behind our in-house concierge service, dedicated to making every Rowes Retreats stay unforgettable. With a background in hospitality and events planning, she brings a wealth of experience—and a true passion for people—to crafting those extra-special moments that guests remember long after their holiday ends.

Whether it’s arranging private chefs, bespoke wine tastings, spa days, or unique Cornish adventures, Verity goes above and beyond to personalise each experience to suit our guests’ wishes. Her attention to detail, warmth, and local know-how mean no request is too big or too small—she’s always ready with thoughtful recommendations and insider tips.

Founder & Onboarding's and Lettings Manager  

LUIS

Luis founded Rowes Retreats in 2023, bringing with him years of experience in managing high-end residential and commercial projects across London. With a background in Quantity Surveying, his real interest lies in the restoration of Georgian and Victorian buildings-particularly in reinstating or preserving original period features. It’s this attention to detail and appreciation for well-designed spaces that led him to carefully curate the properties we bring into our portfolio.
 
Luis personally visits and selects the home we represent, ensuring it meets our standards not just in quality, but in character too. He takes a hands-on approach to the day-to-day running of Rowes Retreats, and works closely with owners and guests alike to deliver a service that’s both personal and dependable.

STEVE

Steve brings a practical, hands-on approach to everything we do at Rowes Retreats. As our Head of Property Growth & Projects, he leads the way in finding unique properties to restore and add to our collection—whether it’s breathing new life into our own homes or helping owners unlock the full potential of theirs.

With deep experience in property renovation and a sharp eye for what makes a space truly welcoming, Steve oversees every project from first viewing to final flourish. He collaborates with local trades, owners, and our in-house team to ensure every retreat—old or new—meets our high standards for comfort, quality, and character.

Steve’s knowledge and care help us grow thoughtfully, balancing our love for Cornwall’s heritage with a commitment to creating spaces guests genuinely love. Thanks to his leadership, Rowes Retreats is always evolving, one beautifully finished home at a time.

BEN

Ben is the storyteller behind the lens at Rowes Retreats, capturing the heart and soul of our retreats in every frame. As our in-house videographer, he brings a fresh, down-to-earth approach to showcasing what makes each home—and the people behind it—so special.

From sweeping shots of Cornish coastlines to the little details that make a stay memorable, Ben’s videos invite guests and owners to experience the warmth, character, and unique stories of every property. He works closely with our team to bring our retreats to life, making sure the true spirit of Rowes Retreats shines through on screen.
